Nokia N900 delayed a bit, will start shipping in November

If you’ve been eagerly waiting for the Nokia N900 to become available, it looks like you’ll have to wait a bit longer.

Nokia initially announced that the new Maemo 5 handset would be on sale starting October, but this won’t happen.

According to Peter Schneider (Head of Marketing, Maemo Devices), the Nokia N900 will start shipping “during November” – and since no exact date is given, this might mean we’ll get to see the N900 in stores in late November or even early December.

    I'm stationed overseas and ready to buy a Nokia n900 that will work with the carriers here, will your US version work here in Italy?

    Please let me know, I'm ready to order with US Visa, ship to military APO.
  • Well, it's not "my U.S. version" of N900, and we do not sell anything so
    you'll have to find a retailer in U.S to buy one. NewEgg or Amazon have it
    on preorder.

    But, yes. N900 will work both in Europe and U.S.
