Samsung Jack Gets Dressed up in WM 6.5
Samsung announced this morning that one of its existing smartphones will be getting a tuneup. If you own a Samsung Jack you will now be able to upgrade your phone to Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard.
To be honest, we weren’t expecting to see the Jack to be one of the first 6.1 phones pushed through to 6.5 by its manufacturer. Nothing against the Jack at all; it’s just running Standard since there is no touchscreen capability.
So what does the Jack and any other WM 6.5 Standard phone get? Improved Internet Explorer, full access to Windows Marketplace, and free access to AT&T WiFi hotspots.

Woohoo? Anyone excited about this one?
In order to download the upgrade, check out Samsung’s official place to do so.
