Got this phone for my husband . Was told at the provider office that I get my cell phone service from , that it has exceptional reception. That was the selling point as my husband is up on mountains in Maine doing windmill projects for electricity and we had trouble with reception and completing calls. He has been disconnected sometimes, but not as much as with his "ancient" phone. We got a good deal, but when we bought the phone the person had a hard time locking the back of the phone so that it was "water resistant". She had to call another person to help her with it, and the person selling us the phone said she hadn't been able to lock the back of any of the quantico phones she sold that day. The other guy helping her made a point of telling me that even though the backs don't look like they are sealed all the way, it in no way affects their resistance to water. The first shipment of the phones were difficult to seal in the back... HHHMMMM..maybe that's why the great deal?? If water resistance is a biggy, maybe don't buy it until the second shipment of these phones comes through.
