Nokia N97 Mini to be launched in India on November 16

It looks like the Nokia N97 Mini will be launched in India on November 16 (and yes, that’s tomorrow), during an event called Nokia N-Tourage.

Coming as N97’s little brother, the Nokia N97 Mini features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 360 x 640 pixels and 16 million colors, full QWERTY keyboard, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, 8GB of internal memory, and a 5MP autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and VGA video recording at 30fps.

Like the N97, Nokia N97 Mini is a Symbian S60 5th Edition smartphone.

The price of an unlocked Nokia N97 Mini in India is expected to be between 20,000 INR ($433) and 25,000 INR ($541).

    The mini N97 was indeed launched today here in India but at price of Rs.31K which translates to US $620 which is $10 more that its Major after VAT…I am confused since it has less memory(only a 1/3rd), smaller screen, lesser battery, no FM transmitter, no Camera cover, no D-pad. This is so Crazy!
