Nokia N900 officially available in the US
Nokia N900 is now finally available in the US, after a slight delay (one month, to be precise) and several rumored release dates.
The Maemo 5 smartphone costs $649 unlocked and customers can find it via Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, as well as online and through independent retailers and e-tailers (Amazon included).
In case you don’t know yet, the N900 is Nokia’s latest Nseries flagship device, featuring a 800 x 480 pixels touchscreen display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and 32GB of internal memory.

For the moment, there’s still no word whether Nokia plans to launch the N900 via a US carrier or not – but it’s still a good thing that the smartphone is available unlocked.
