Verizon announces the rugged Casio G’zOne Rock
Verizon’s newest Casio phone is not the Brigade, as expected, but the Casio G’zOne Rock, a clamshell announced today by the largest US mobile carrier.
The Casio G’zOne is a rugged handset that features Triple Sensor technology and advanced G’zGear software which can operate in six modes: Earth Compass, Astro Calendar, Sunrise Sunset, Tides, Walking Counter and Thermometer.
The phone also features Push To Talk, EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, touch-sensitive music controls, and a 2MP camera with flash and video recording.

Casio G’zOne Rock will be available at Verizon starting November 20. The phone’s price is $199.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
