CDMA Samsung Corby S3650 coming to India?

Officially announced only in GSM flavor, the Samsung Corby S3650 might also be released in a CDMA version for the Indian market – where major carriers like Reliance and Tata use CDMA networks.

The new Corby S3650 would be India’s first CDMA touchscreen phone to provide access to social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc). The handset features a 2.8 inch QVGA display, TouchWiz UI, HTML browser, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.1, 2MP camera and MicroSD card support.

The CDMA Samsung Corby should cost about 10,000 INR ($216).

As a side note, the GSM Corby will soon have a version with Wi-Fi, called Corby S3650W.

    Just purchased Corby CDMA. Touchscreen is great. But getting things done quickly ( e.g. taking a person on 3-way, mute, speaker phone, etc) takes more keystrokes as everytime u hv to unlock the keypad. Also, camera flash is missing. Alrams cannot be set for the whole week. Cannot customise a profile to alert only for selected groups(e.g in Meeting mode only VIP category calls will b alerted). etc.

    As everyone knows Samsung has come up with Samsung corby and has added many mobile phone with it, but my personal opinion is to go with Samsung Corby S3650 Mobile Phone which includes a 2 mega pixels camera, 2.8 inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen, upto 8GB expandable memory , Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and 2G connectivity.
