Find Your Fix and Great Career iPhone apps launched
HitFix, an LA-based start-up, announced the availability of Find Your Fix – a new iPhone app presented as “a personal, customizable calendar of local and national entertainment events.”
Find Your Fix lets you discover more than 100,000 new local and national (US) events, including the latest movie, album, DVD, Blu-ray, and video game releases. The app is based on a searchable location-based event calendar and also covers TV shows, sports, concerts and other local events.
HitFix’s Find Your Fix iPhone app features: keyword-based search; event reminders; links to buy tickets to various events, or to buy music, games and DVDs; maps for concerts and events; high-quality videos (movie trailers, music clips and celebrity interviews; e-mail / share links; the ability to directly send news and events via Twitter and Facebook.
Find Your Fix is free and can be found in the App Store.
Another new iPhone app launched today is Great Career, which should “help people find work and career fulfillment in these tough economic times.”

Developed by FranklinCovey and Signal Patterns, the Great Career iPhone app is a companion to the “Great Work, Great Career” book written by Stephen Covey and Jennifer Colosimo, but it can also be used independently.
Great Career for iPhone provides in-depth content, as well as specific career-building exercises and various other resources. It costs $9.99 and you can find it in the App Store.
