Nokia’s best announcements from 2009: N900, Ovi Maps 3.0, Ovi Store
Nokia Conversations (aka the official Nokia blog) has recently asked readers to pick out their favorite Nokia product announcement and favorite Nokia service announcement from 2009.
As it turns out, the best Nokia product announcement of this year is the Nokia N900 – the Maemo-based smartphone officially unveiled in August.
59% of the voters preferred the N900, so the Maemo device is clearly above all the other Nokia devices announced this year. And it’s no wonder, since our N900 review shows that the smartphone is impressive – although it has some things you may hate, too.
Moving on, 10% of the voters picked out the Nokia E72 (E71’sucessors) as the best 2009 product announcement, while 9% believe that this title should be given to the Nokia N97 Mini.

When it comes to services, Nokia Ovi Maps 3.0 and Nokia Ovi Store (which will be refreshed in 2010) received 23% of the votes, each. Nokia Messaging has also received a great amount of attention, as 19% of the voters think it’s the best service the Finnish company introduced this year.
So, what do you think? Is there any other Nokia product that caught your attention during 2009?
