CDMA Samsung Corby Speed, Mpower Muzik 219 and Duos 259 announced in India
The CDMA version of Samsung Corby that we’ve heard about several weeks ago has just been announced in India as Samsung Corby Speed.
The Corby Speed supports data transfers of up to 2.4Mbps and uses OMH (Open Market Handset) technology – thus it’s compatible with all networks that support OMH SIM cards, including Tata Indicom, Reliance, MTS and Virgin Mobile.
Other than that, the Samsung Corby Speed is not at all different from the Corby S3650, so it features a 2.8 inch QVGA display, Bluetooth, Music player, FM radio, social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), 2MP camera, 80MB of internal memory and MicroSD card support.
Samsung Corby Speed is priced at 10,400 INR (about $224) and will be available with three colored jackets (in yellow, black and white).

Other two new phones launched by Samsung in India are the Mpower Muzik 219 and the Duos 259.
Samsung Mpower Muzik 219 features CDMA connectivity, Bluetooth, Music player, dual speakers, FM recording, VGA photo camera, MicroSD card support (up to 2GB) and menu options in multiple languages (Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil and Telegu). The phone costs 3,599 INR ($77).
Samsung Duos 259 is obviously a dual SIM phone, featuring both GSM and CDMA connectivity. It also has GPRS, Bluetooth, Music player, Stereo FM radio and FM recording, 1.3MP camera, and MicroSD card support (up to 8GB). The Duos 259 costs 8,350 INR ($179).
Unfortunately, photos of the Samsung Mpower Muzik 219 and Samsung Duos 259 are not available at the moment.
