Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 gets official, Windows Mobile 6.5.3 confirmed
Garmin-Asus’ newest Windows Mobile smartphone, the M10, has just been confirmed by the joint-venture.
The M10 is part of the Nuvifone series and will be launched in Taiwan in February, featuring Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Maldives (we’ve also heard that Windows Mobile Maldives is a codename for Windows Mobile 6.6, but it looks like this isn’t true).
Reportedly, Windows Mobile 6.5.3 “comes with a thinner task bar on top” – but, other than that, we don’t know what’s new in it.
Anyway, here’s what the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 looks like:

The specs of M10 include:
- 3.5 inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) touchscreen display
- Garmin GPS software
- Wi-Fi
- 5MP camera
- 600MHz processor
- 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM
- 4GB of internal memory
- MicroSD card support (up to 32GB)
Garmin-Asus says that the M10 will retail for 13,900 Taiwanese dollars – about $435. The smarpthone will most probably be showcased at MWC 2010, where Garmin-Asus’ first Android handset should also be unveiled.
