Sprint’s HTC Supersonic WiMAX Android phone in clear photos

Remember the HTC A9292, rumored to hit Sprint as one of its first WiMAX phones? The A9292 might be the HTC Supersonic, recently appeared in two images – a live photo and a rendering.

Reportedly, the HTC Supersonic is an Android 2.1 smartphone that has features similar to the ones of the Windows Mobile-based HTC HD2: 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of internal memory (like T-Mobile’s HD2), and a 5MP autofocus camera.

A notable difference (besides the different OS) is that the Supersonic has an OLED display, instead of a TFT one.

Here’s what the HTC Supersonic looks like:

It’s said that Sprint will launch the HTC Supersonic in March this year. Pricing details are not known at the moment.

Hey guys, where did you get the info that says HTC Supersonic will have an AMOLED screen?

All the other sites state this phone will have the same LCD screen as HTC HD2.

Looking forward to your answer! Thanks
