Symbian^4 UI video previews are not as fascinating as you’d think

More than a month after we saw the first Symbian^4 UI concept proposal images, here we have Symbian^4 (well, an early version of it, anyway) demoed on video.

If you expect something revolutionary, you’ll be disappointed.

Of course, you can see that Symbian^4 lets you freely place widgets on the customizable homescreen, but, really, the only noticeable thing is that Dali-like clock. But let’s wait and see what Symbian^3 will bring first, and then judge Symbian^4.

As previously mentioned, Nokia should launch Symbian^4 devices starting 2011.

    This company is shooting themself in the foot. Open Source yes, but by golly you only need to look at how Microsoft transformed thier Windows OS to version 7, this just seems like a poor man's upgrade. Time will tell.
