Nokia E72i – an E72 with WAPI for China?
Available since November last year, the Nokia E72 will soon have a new version, namely the Nokia E72i.
It’s not yet clear what the E72i brings, but it looks like it’s destined for China and it might feature WAPI (China’s own Wi-Fi technology).
Other than that, the Nokia E72i seems to be identical with the E72, so it should feature HSDPA, A-GPS, Nokia Maps, accelerometer, 3.5mm headset jack, 250MB of internal memory and, of course, a QVGA display and a full QWERTY keyboard.

There’s no word yet on when the Nokia E72i will be available for purchase, and neither for what price.
