New BlackBerry Pearl 9100 hands-on photos show dedicated music keys
The unannounced BlackBerry Pearl 9100 has recently appeared in new photos (hands-on, this time) – so it might not be long until RIM decides to officially unveil it.
As mentioned before, the BlackBerry 9100 is the successor of the Pearl 8100, 8110 and 8120 smartphones. The new Pearl 9100 has a form factor that resembles the old models, but it obviously looks better.
The 9100 features 3G, Wi-Fi, an optical trackpad, SureType QWERTY keyboard, and a 3MP camera with LED flash. The handset also comes with dedicated music keys on the top side, which means RIM might market it as a multimedia smartphone.

Most probably, RIM will launch the BlackBerry 9100 in North America first, and then in Europe.
