HTC launches online store in the US (for smartphones and accessories)

Today at CTIA Wireless 2010 (where Samsung presented the Galaxy S Android smartphone), HTC announced the launch of an online store for the US.

The new HTC store allows customers to buy smartphones and accessories, and to activate their HTC device by choosing a rate plan from one of the four major US carriers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile.

If your order is of at least $50, HTC will send you the ordered products with no shipping charges. Moreover, “a 15-day money back guarantee” is offered, so you can return any purchased item free of charge.

“As HTC continues to grow its brand and customer base, we believe it is important to have one place for our customers to find the very best devices, plans and accessories to match their lifestyle and needs. Personal choice guides our products, and it is also what we are looking to bring to the online shopping experience that we are announcing today. We realize that there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to smartphones and service plans, which is why HTC is committed to delivering an experience that makes it easy to find the right solution for individual needs,” declared Jason Mackenzie, vice president of HTC America.

The new HTC online store is accessible at this web address.
