LG Cosmos Will Provide Low-End Texting Glory on Verizon (Video)
For those who are lovers of all things text but not lovers of spending lots of money for extra stuff thrown into many of the latest handsets on the market today, the LG Cosmos is a good compromise.
Of late, Verizon has been requiring data plans on all of its 3G devices. The LG Cosmos won’t require it, however, because it is an entry-level 2G quick messaging device. So get yourself an unlimited text plan and you’re all set for texting ecstasy!
So how does it hold up? Is it worth your money? It all really depends on what you need your phone to do.

The Cosmos will be available today both online and in Verizon Wireless stores for $29.99 after mail in rebate. It will come with voice command, Bluetooth 2.1, automatic voice clarity adjustments, GPS, 1.3 MP camera, and MicroUSB. Not too bad for a phone intended to be as basic as they come.
