Nokia Here and Now S60 app out of beta
Launched back in April last year, Nokia’s Here and Now application is now out of beta and comes with a new UI that’s browser-based.
The new Here and Now app downloads a web page on your phone, displaying the weather, plus local events, movies and restaurants. The application automatically customizes the page according to users’ location, screen resolution and language.
Here and Now is also included in Nokia Ovi Maps 3.03, but the standalone application “offers the highlights at a glance in the browser.”

The stable version of Here and Now is available for free via Ovi Store for the following phones: Nokia 6710 Navigator, Nokia E52, Nokia E55, Nokia E72, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia 5230, Nokia 5235, Nokia X6 and Nokia N97 Mini. Notice the absence of the Nokia N97 from the list – owners of handsets that are not supported can still use the beta version of Here and Now, available here (you need to register with your Nokia account to download it).
