Nokia C3 approved and confirmed by the FCC

We’ve already seen the Nokia C5 and the Nokia C6, but what about that other rumored Cseries phone, the Nokia C3?

Well, since we know the C3 has the model number RM-614, we’ve discovered that the phone has just been approved by the FCC, which also posted a sketchy image of its back. By the looks of it, the C3 is a candybar – a rather wide one, which means Nokia may have put a QWERTY keyboard on it.

As previously reported, the Cseries handsets “focus on social interaction between friends and family”, so it would make sense for the C3 to have a QWERTY keyboard.

Nokia’s new naming convention suggests that the C3 should be cheaper than the C5 (which will costs €135) – so it will probably be a successful phone in emerging markets. We don’t know when Nokia plans to announce the C3, but it might happen really soon.

This is what will make Nokia stay on top….like forever. Sorry to all the other competitors, you being at the top is simply not going to happen in your lifetime ever so keep on dreaming.

Well, I hope so. But nothing is guarantied in mobile or other biz.

Nokia was on top, and without giving competitors any hope catching up. It
still is, and likely to remain for the next couple of years.

But Nokia wasted the last two years in the market, cruising ahead on the
stuff it has built before. And shifting it's focus to OVI services. And now
they've got a very strong challenger, which is gaining strongly, and the
future winner is not at all clear.

But the challenger is not Apple or Google/Android. It's Samsung. Which has
been moving ahead much more strongly the Nokia in the last 2 years.

Nokia has woke up, and an interesting showdown is coming between Nokia and
Samsung. We'll have to wait and see how things develop
