Triple SIM phone to be launched in India by Olive
Olive Telecommunication, the company that launched India’s first Zipbook and India’s first AAA-compatible phone, is getting ready to launch a triple SIM phone.
Called Wiz V-GC800, the triple SIM handset is reportedly capable of handling one CDMA connection and two GSM connections at the same time.
The phone features a full QWERTY keypad, social networking integration (Facebook, Twitter), Instant messaging, Bluetooth, FM radio, 2MP camera with video recording, and expandable memory (up to 4GB).
The Wiz V-GC800 looks so much like the INQ Chat 3G (which is already available in India) that I could easily say it’s a rip-off:
Olive Wiz V-GC800 will have changeable back panes (black, yellow and silver) and it could be priced at under 5,000 INR (about $115). No word yet on the phone’s exact release date.
