Sony Ericsson Zylo and Spiro Walkman phones introduced (video)

The same day Nokia announced the C3, C6 and E5, Sony Ericsson introduced two new Walkman phones (both sliders): Sony Ericsson Zylo and Sony Ericsson Spiro W100.

Sony Ericsson says that the Zylo and Spiro “provide consumers with the best music experience they have come to expect from Walkman phones but go one step further and marry music with social networking.” Both handsets come with Facebook and Twitter integration, as well as with access to YouTube, Flickr and Picasa.

Sony Ericsson Zylo features a 2.6 inch QVGA display, HSDPA, Google Maps, Walkman player, TrackID, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Google Search, NetFront browser, 3D gaming, 3.2MP camera with video recording, 260MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.

The Zylo is Sony Ericsson’s first handset to support the FLAC format for the “best sound quality ever on a mobile phone.” It will be out in Jazz Black, Chacha Silver and Swing Pink.

Sony Ericsson Spiro features a 2.2 inch QVGA display, GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 3.5mm headset jack, Walkman player, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, 2MP camera with video, and MicroSD card support. The phone will have four color versions: Contrast Black, Stealth Black, Sunset Pink and Spring Green.

Sony Ericsson Zylo and Sony Ericsson Spiro will be available in early Q3 (July?). SE didn’t mention their prices, but it said that both phones will be affordable.
