Verizon HTC Incredible now official as “Droid Incredible by HTC”. April 29 seems to be the launch date
By Ilinca Nita on 14 Apr 10Although it didn’t issue a press release (as usual in these cases), Verizon has just officially presented the long-awaited HTC Incredible, which now appears on the carrier’s website as “coming soon.”
Verizon doesn’t provide too many details, but it says that “the next chapter in the Droid saga begins April 29th.” And speaking of Droid, the new smartphone’s name is actually Droid Incredible by HTC, and not HTC Incredible.
April 29 might be the date when the Droid Incredible hits the shelves, but it may also be just the date when Verizon will start taking pre-orders. We’ll see soon.
Until then, you may want to check out the specs of HTC Incredible Droid Incredible, or register your interest for the handset on Verizon’s website. Update: the Droid Incredible page is no longer accessible on Verizon’s site.
