LG GT540 gets Optimus trade name. Dresses in new colors, keeps Android
Lowendish LG GT540 Android 2.1 handset has showed up for a short moment during CES in January. With a promised April launch date.
But we haven’t heard much about it since then. Until today.
Today LG France blog decided to take GT540 for an extensive photo shoot, to show us all the colors the handset will come in.
They also gave a trade name to GT540 – LG Optimus.
For some reason, the blog post about LG Optimus GT540 have since been removed from LG France blog, but I managed to get hold of the few pics before that:
LG Optimus will be a rather low end smartphone, with a smallish display, 3 megapixel camera and Android 2.1 OS.
