Black HTC Desire and Samsung Monte show up on Orange UK’s website
The black HTC Desire that was confirmed by Orange UK last month is now featured on the carrier’s website, although it’s only “coming soon”, so you can’t buy it just yet.
Most probably, the Desire in black will have the same price as the brown version, which is already available – for free with an Orange Dolphin 35 plan for 24 months.
Apart from the different color, the black HTC Desire doesn’t bring anything new, coming with the same 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, Android 2.1, HTC Sense UI, HSDPA, A-GPS, Google Maps, Wi-Fi, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and 5MP autofocus camera.
Another touchscreen phone that’s coming soon to Orange UK is the Samsung Monte S5620.
The Monte S5620 will be free on select plans, featuring a 3.2 inch WQVGA display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2MP camera, and MicroSD card support.
