Nokia and Pepsi launch Ovi Store football channel
Nokia (which should launch its new N8 smartphone in a few months) announced that Ovi Store now includes an “Ovi Store football channel”, where football fans can find exclusive Pepsi content, including games, applications and free themes and wallpapers
Moreover, Nokia Music Store will start selling Pepsi’s charity football anthem “Oh Africa,” performed by Akon, Keri Hilson and the Soweto Gospel choir.
You can star searching for Pepsi content as of now on the Ovi Store website.
Nokia has also launched the so-called Nokia Skill Dribbler competition, which comes with attractive prizes, including Nokia N97 mini smartphones and a football trip top Barcelona. Nokia says that users can play Skill Dribbler via Ovi Store – although I wasn’t able to find anything related to this yet.
Later this year, Ovi Store’s “content dedicated to 2010′s summer of football” (I’m not sure why Nokia isn’t directly saying it’s dedicated to FIFA World Cup 2010) will be expanded with new games and applications (like “Great goals”, Livemobile Football and ESPN Soccernet).
