Samsung Android and Bada phones will have pre-loaded Yahoo services
Yahoo and Samsung have announced the signing of a new partnership that will bring Yahoo services to new Samsung handsets, including Android and Bada smartphones.
Starting May this year, select Samsung phones will be pre-loaded with services like: Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Flickr, Yahoo! Front Page, Yahoo! Weather, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Contacts and Yahoo! Calendar.
“By making our most popular Yahoo! services available on Samsung mobile devices around the world, we’re providing consumers with personally relevant mobile Internet experiences that make it easy for them to stay connected to what’s important to them and explore the full potential of their device,” said David Ko, senior vice president, Audience, Mobile and Local for Yahoo!.
One of the new Samsung phones that will feature Yahoo services is probably the Galaxy S i9000 (since it runs Android and it should be launched in May – or maybe June?).
