Samsung Exec i225 Windows Mobile smartphone launched by U.S. Cellular
U.S. Cellular (which will launch the HTC Desire later this year) announced the availability of Samsung Exec SCH-i225, a new smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5 (no word yet if it’s upgradeable to WM 6.5.3).
The Samsung Exec is a BlackJack-like handset with a full QWERTY keypad and a QVGA landscape display.
The Exec features Microsoft Office Mobile (including Outlook ActiveSync), GPS, full HTML browser, social networking integration (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Flicker), Microsoft Windows Marketplace, stereo Bluetooth, 2MP camera, and MicroSD card support.
U.S. Cellular offers the Samsung Exec for $99.95 with a 2-yr agreement, or for $299.95 free of contract.
