Spotify integrated into SE Xperia X10′s Mediascape and Timescape
Sony Ericsson announced via its product blog that it has integrated Spotify into Xperia X10‘s Mediascape and Timescape.
This allows users to easily access Spotify via their X10 Android smartphone, as the service “appear as an online music service in Mediascape and songs played through Spotify shows up as event tiles in Timescape”
The Spotify integration into Mediascape and Timescape is demoed in the video below on an X10 from Telia Sweden. In other countries, the integration might be different.
Sadly, Sony Ericsson doesn’t mention whether you need to be a Spotify Premium customer or not in order to use the service integrated into X10’s UI.
