Google intros new Image Search for Android, iPhone (video)
Android and iPhone users now have a redesigned Google Image Search page on their smartphones.
Google has tweaked Image Search for mobile so that users can see as many image thumbnails as possible on a single page.
The image thumbnails are square, and you can either swipe to go to the next or previous page, or simply tap the Next and Previous page buttons.
Speed has been optimized, too, so now the images should appear quicker than before.
A video preview of Image Search on the Google Nexus One can be watched below:
The new Google Image Search works on iPhone 3.0+ and Android 2.1+ smartphones and it’s available in 38 languages. You can check it out at google.com, in the Images section.
