BlackBerry 9800 slider shows up again (with BlackBerry OS 6)
RIM’s first slider smartphone – apparently called BlackBerry 9800 – has been spotted in some new hands-on photos, which seem to show that the device runs BlackBerry OS 6.
Furthermore, BBleaks says that the BlackBerry 9800 will be Research in Motion’s first device to use OS 6, which can run on both touch and non-touch phones (like the BlackBerry 9670 clamshell).
The new photos of the 9800 are quite blurry and weird, as you can see below:
There’s still no word on the exact features of BlackBerry 9800, but 3G and Wi-Fi should be included. The smartphone will probably be launched by RIM this summer.
