Orange Lisbon and Orange Rio to be launched in the UK on PAYG
Orange is getting ready to launch two new own-branded phones, called Orange Lisbon and Orange Rio. Unlike the Orange Boston, these don’t run Android – but they’re really cheap.
The Orange Lisbon is an “incredibly lightweight” and somewhat good-looking entry level full-touch phone that features 2G connectivity, MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth, USB, 1.3MP camera, MicroSD card support, and a battery that can provide up to 3 hours of talk-time. The handset’s display seems to be a QVGA one.
Orange UK will sell the Lisbon on Pay As You Go for as low as £35 with a £10 top-up. You can check out the phone on Orange’s website.
The second new device, the Orange Rio, is a QWERTY phone with 2G, Bluetooth, MP3 player, FM radio, 2MP camera, and MicroSD card support.
The Orange Rio will be available in the UK on PAYG (in black and pink) for £55 with a £10 top-up. You can see the phone here or here.
