AT&T Confirms Palm Pixi Plus Coming June 6
While there may be few anxious Palm/WebOS junkies who have waited countless months for this day to come, it is still exciting news nonetheless. Just one day after the release of the Palm Pre Plus, PreCentral discovered that AT&T on its website has officially announced the release date of the Palm Pixi Plus on its network, slated for June 6.
Certainly release dates are always subject to change, but fortunately there was no change in the Pre’s release so hopefully it will be the same for the Pixi Plus as well. We’re also hoping that the Pixi Plus will come with a free Touchstone charger like the Pre Plus currently offers; pricing is expected to be $49.95 after rebate.
Here are some shots of AT&T’s Pixi Plus at CTIA 2010 in March:
It certainly is exciting news, though I have a feeling this particular device will be dwarfed in excitement by the HTC EVO 4G launch on June 4 and quite possibly something going on June 7. But that’s just a guess on my part.
