Samsung S3370 available in the UK via 3, will be launched as Pocket3G in Italy
Announced as Samsung Corby 3G in Russia, the Samsung S3370 is now available in the UK, where 3 is offering it for free on plans of at least £10 per month.
3 UK customers can also buy the Samsung S3370 on PAYG, for only £89.99 (about $132).
The S3370 is an entry-level touchscreen phone with TouchWiz UI, a 2.8 inch QVGA display, Facebook and Twitter integration, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo FM radio, HTML browser, 1.3MP camera, MicroSD card support, and free Skype-to-Skype calls (available only to 3′s subscribers).
Interestingly, 3 UK says the handset also has a slide-out keypad, but until some strong evidence of this shows up, I’ll take it as a mistake from whoever edits the British carriers’ website.
The S3370 will also be available in Italy, where TIM calls it Samsung Pocket3G, and in Belgium, where it’s called Samsung Acton, being offered with a free football.
