White Samsung Player 5 (S5560) Anelka Edition launched in France
By Florin on 21 May 10Launched in Europe at the end of 2009, the Samsung S5560 is known in France as “Samsung Player 5”, and it now has a new special edition called Samsung Player 5 Anelka.
Exclusively offered by Virgin Mobile France, the Samsung Player 5 Anelka phone is white and comes with a case signed by Nicolas Anelka, the French football star who currently plays in the UK at Chelsea. A 4GB memory card including exclusive Anelka content is also offered with the phone, together with a choker signed by the French striker.
The handset features a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash.
Virgin Mobile France sells the Samsung Player 5 Anelka for as low as €1 on contract, or €179 ($225) on PAYG. Customers can buy the phone online here. Allez les Bleus?
