LG Vu Plus announced by AT&T, available in June for $150 on contract
While Verizon announced a new LG smartphone (the WM 6.5.3 Fathom VS750), AT&T has unveiled a new LG featurephone – the LG Vu Plus, which builds on the success of the original LG Vu, launched way back in 2008.
The new Vu Plus comes with an enhanced UI, sliding 4-row QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, AT&T Mobile TV, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Social Net, full HTML browser, 3MP camera, and MicroSD card slot.
The phone’s display is a 3 inch capacitive one. Its resolution is not known, but it seems to be 240 x 400 pixels.
LG Vu Plus will be available at AT&T starting June 6. The phone will set you back $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate (a 2-yr contract agreement is obviously required).
