Dell Streak available tomorrow at O2 UK, coming to the US in July
Dell Streak (the company’s first Android tablet) will be exclusively available at O2 UK starting tomorrow, in two versions: 16GB and 32GB.
Both the Streak 16GB and Streak 32GB will be free on select plans, but they can also cost you up to £449 on some data-only plans. Of course, O2 allows customers to choose from a great variety of contracts – you can check them all out here at the carrier’s blog.
The tablet will run Android 1.6 at launch, but an official Android 2.2 Froyo update will be out later this year.
UK aside, the Dell Streak will also be launched in the US next month (July). Engadget says that the tablet will cost $500 unlocked. That’s less than some high-end smartphones out there, so we might see Dell selling quite a few of these.
