Nokia N97 Mini coming to Rogers Canada today
Rogers is launching the Nokia N97 Mini in Canada today (a bit later than expected), allowing Symbian fans across the country to buy the smartphone for as low as 99.99 CAD.
To get the N97 Mini for only $99 you’ll have to sign a 3-yr contract agreement with Rogers (voice and data plans are required). The handset is also offered for $399.99 with a 2-yr contract, $449.99 with a 1-yr contract, and $499.99 outright.
The N97 Mini will be Rogers’ second Symbian touchscreen phone, after the Nokia 5800 (currently available for $49.99 on contract). The handset features a 3.2 inch screen with 360 x 640 pixels, full QWERTY keyboard, Ovi Maps with free navigation, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera, and 8GB of internal memory. Rogers doesn’t offer the new phone via its website yet, but you’ll probably be able to buy it via the carrier’s retail stores.
Other Nokia smartphones that will be launched in Canada soon are the Nokia E72 (via Telus) and Nokia X6 (unknown carrier).
