Sony Ericsson Yendo Android Walkman promo pics leak

It looks like Sony Ericsson is starting to hit it’s stride with the Android smartphones.

And, what’s even better, they are relying on the things that once made them a great company, and their mobile phones – a must have items for handset aficionados. Great design and innovative features.

Despite running on outdated Android 1.6, to me, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the best looking smartphone in 2010. Their Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro are also looking pretty good, and take a fresh approach towards a really pocketable Android handset.

Then we have the rumored Sony Ericsson Android Walkman. That first leaked blurry Android music phone pic,  didn’t look so good. Well, it actually is.

Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog just got their hands on some SE Android Walkman promo pics, and they are gorgeous:

I’m really looking forward to Sony Ericsson’s take on the multimedia features on this handset. Media synchronization, organization and playback is one part of Android Experience,  where Google and their partners could do much better job.

According to USEB, Sony Ericsson Yendo Android Walkman should be announced pretty soon, and will come in multiple colors.

Looking at the screen size, this Sony Ericsson Walkman should be relatively cheap for an Android handset.

But it is not confirmed at your source that it runs on android. they specifically point out that they don't know which OS it is. Any views?

But the previous leak, with Android Walkman picture:
that the phone runs Android. (And it is exactly the same phone)

Also, the interface shell on Yengo, is the same as that on Xperia Mini and
Mini Pro. So I'm 90% sure, that it will run Android. Or, in other words, no
less sure, then I am sure that the pictures of Yendo are not just a very
    talented photoshop job.

Now, if we start talking about which version of Android this is, that's
another question. My bet is Android 1.6, because SE hasn't yet been able to
port their Nexus UI to Android 2.x
