Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Touch Pro II coming to Orange UK
The Samsung Galaxy S is already available in the UK, but only via Vodafone. Orange is about to fix that, as it’s getting ready to launch the new Android smartphone, too.
Orange will offer the Galaxy S for free on select contracts. It doesn’t say when exactly its customers will be able to buy it, but you can check out this coming soon page for more info.
Weird enough, another smartphone that’s coming to Orange UK is the HTC Touch Pro II – which is now more than one year old. That’s a curious decision, but maybe the carrier wants to introduce the Touch Pro II because none of its other HTC smartphones (Desire, Hero, Tatto) has a full QWERTY keyboard.
In the meantime, Orange UK has released the Samsung Galaxy Apollo i5801 – you can get it here (it’s £189 on Pay As You Go, or free on select contracts).
