Skype for Symbian 1.1 launched
Skype for Symbian has just been updated, reaching version 1.1 and coming with minor design changes.
The new application also seems to reduce the amount of RAM it uses – good news for those who have slower Symbian handsets.
Needless to say, the app lets you make free Skype-to-Skype calls and IM (via both 3G and Wi-Fi), call abroad and send SMS at low rates, and share multimedia files (like photos and videos).
You can use Skype for Symbian on most 3rd Edition and 5th Edition (touch) smartphones. The application is free and can be downloaded via m.skype.com, or through Ovi Store.
