T-Mobile’s handset launch roadmap for 2010 leaked, 5 new Androids coming

What we have here is supposedly T-Mobile’s handset launch roadmap for what’s left of this year. Now we can’t possibly verify this, so the good old pinch of salt may do you good here.

There are mentions of the previously announced Motorola Charm and Samsung Vibrant (both set to launch on July 21), and it looks like 5 more Android phones may come out of T-Mobile this year.

These seem (can’t really be 100% sure thanks to the blurriness of the photo) to be:

  • HTC Vanguard – September 9
  • HTC Emerald – November 5 (intriguing name, this – can it be the legendary Project Emerald‘s fruition?)
  • Motorola Jordan – November 5
  • Motorola Begonia – November 5
  • unnamed LG Android phone in mid-November

Remember these are code names and the final, ‘release’ names of these handsets may be very different. We also don’t have any specs for any of these new phones yet. That will probably change over time, as is always the case, so stay tuned.

It will be quite interesting to see how LG’s first Android phone for T-Mobile will look and perform. Anyway, it looks like November 5th is shaping up to be a big handset release day for T-Mobile.

Also in there are apparent mentions of updates for the Motorola Cliq and Cliq XT to be announced in August (hopefully Android 2.1). Also, one might interpret the update for the Motorola Charm that will be announced in September as Android 2.2 (since the phone will ship with 2.1 on release), but then again, this may not happen. The MyTouch 3G Slide will receive some kind of an update as well, to be announced sometime this month.
