RIM BlackBerry OS 6 officially showcased in new video preview
BlackBerry OS 6 was previewed several times until now, both in official and unofficial videos, but just in case you want more, RIM has published a new video that offers a fresh sneak peek at the upcoming platform.
Showcased in the new video are the latest BlackBerry Browser, the Social Feeds app, the enhanced media interface, pinching and zooming, and some other features. Everything’s looking smooth, although the experience on an actual device might be a tad different.
RIM says that BlackBerry 6 “is on track for release this summer”, so the first smartphones to use it (likely the BlackBerry 9800 and BlackBerry 9670) should also be out really soon (i.e. before the end of August).
