Android Market welcomes Opera Mini 5.1
Officially announced last week, Opera Mini 5.1 has now been launched for Android smartphones, too. Of course, Opera Mini 5 was already available for Android, but it was in beta.
The non-beta Opera Mini 5.1 doesn’t bring too much newness, but it’s obviously a more stable build.
It also provides improved page layout for Android devices with large displays (like the Samsung Galaxy S range, HTC EVO 4G, Motorola Droid X and so on).
Opera Mini 5.1 for Android is free and can be downloaded through Android Market, or by visiting m.opera.com on your smartphone.
Opera Mini for iPhone has been downloaded more than 1 million times in the first day of availability, so there’s a good change the browser’s new version for Android will be wildly successful, too.
