Samsung Galaxy S i9000 available now at O2 UK
O2 has just started to sell the Samsung Galaxy S in the UK – where the smartphone is also available via Orange and T-Mobile.
At O2, the Samsung Galaxy S is free on plans of at least £30 per month, but you can also get it with a £25 plan and pay £49 for the handset itself.
In case you’re not familiar with the features of the Galaxy S yet: the smartphone comes with stuff like a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display, Android 2.1, 1GHz processor, 5MP autofocus camera, and 8GB/16GB of internal storage.
If you want a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S, the Samsung Galaxy Apollo is also available in the UK (not from O2, though) – it also runs Android 2.1, but it only has a 3.2 inch HVGA TFT display and a 3.2MP camera.
