Samsung Intensity II is headed to Verizon
An interesting phone just showed up via a Best Buy employee. This is the Samsung Intensity II, it will run on Verizon’s network and is due to be released very soon.
It will cost just $1 if you choose a new 2-year contract, or $249.99 if you go for the contract-less option.
This is the successor to the original Samsung Intensity, and the similarities between the two are striking.
The phone will have both an ordinary T9 numpad and a side-sliding full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 Megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth.
At least the camera is an upgrade from the original Intensity’s 1.3 Megapixels.
More specs are unknown at this point, but it may look interesting for those who do a lot of texting and don’t want, need or afford a smartphone.
Should go well with teens, or at least with their parents.
