Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro is now available on O2 in the UK
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro Android-powered smartphone has been available in the UK on Vodafone for a couple of weeks.
And now O2 have stepped in and are offering the little device on bundles starting at £25/month.
O2 are heavily promoting the Google Maps free Navigation for this phone, which is cool and all that, but not really a differentiating feature for this puppy, since all Android phones in the UK get that service anyway.
The thing about the pricing is that Vodafone offer the X10 Mini Pro from £20/month, so O2′s isn’t exactly the best deal in town. And we’re talking 2-year contracts here, so that’s a full 120 quid more expensive over the life of the agreement.
Anyway, if O2 is your network of choice and you’ve been eyeing the X10 Mini Pro, you can be happy now. This is an interesting device, in a niche of its own, being so small but still managing to pack a QWERTY keyboard. Texting and email fanatics who don’t much care for enormous displays will surely love it.
