Android-powered Huawei U8100 launches in Canada on Wind Mobile
The Huawei U8100 was announced months ago during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
And today it has officially launched in Canada, on Wind Mobile.
This low-end Android 2.1-powered device will set you back 160 Canadian dollars (approximately US$ 156), and there’s no contract involved. You can order it online or from Wind retailers.
Here’s what you get if you opt for this smartphone:
- 2.8 ” 240 x 320 touchscreen
- 3.2 MP camera with LED flash
- HSDPA 7.2 Mb/s, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS
- microSD card slot, FM radio
All in all an interesting budget solution, and one that clearly has the potential to become a best-seller.
