LG Wink T300 coming to Orange UK as LG Cookie Lite
LG wastes no time when it comes to launching its just-announced Wink phones. One of them, the Wink T300, has already appeared in the coming soon section of Orange UK’s website, and the carrier will probably sell it starting later this month.
The phone won’t be named LG Wink, though, but LG Cookie Lite. It will be available only on Pay As You Go, and I’m thinking it should cost well under £100.
LG Wink T300 / Cookie Lite is a 3G-less handset with a 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen display, “Cartoon UI”, social networking integration, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio with RDS, 1.3MP camera, and MicroSD card slot (really helpful, since the phone only has 20MB of internal memory).
The new Wink series was probably introduced by LG in response to Samsung’s Corby family – which includes cheap (and thus popular) touchscreen phones.
