Nokia N8 available around September 30 in Europe?
Less than a week ago, we’ve heard that the Nokia N8 would be launched on September 23 in the UK, where the Symbian^3 smartphone should be exclusively available at Nokia’s online store for the first week.
Now Finnish website Kauppalehti reports that, according to Tapani Kaskinen (Senior Communications Manager at Nokia), customers who’ve pre-ordered the N8 will receive it starting September 30.
It’s not clear if this date concerns Finland only, or Europe in general. Either way, the Nokia N8 will almost certainly arrive before the end of September – in some markets, at least.
In Finland, an unlocked N8 will cost you €499 – that’s a bit higher than the handset’s prices for other European countries, like Germany (€479) and Italy (€459).
