T-Mobile myTouch HD features leaked, Froyo and video chat included?
Expected to be launched on November 3, the T-Mobile myTouch HD will be T-Mo’s third HTC-made Android smartphone introduced this year, after the myTouch 3G slide and the recently-announced G2.
TmoNews claims to have a document that unveils some of the myTouch HD’s features.
Reportedly, the myTouch HD will run Android 2.2 Froyo (no surprise here, really), coming with:
- 3.8 inch screen (WVGA, almost certainly)
- 1GHz “Dual Processor” (dual-core, maybe?)
- Screen share – a feature for “broadcasting your HD movies and pictures to your HDTV”
- 5MP autofocus camera with flash
- VGA front-facing camera for video chat through Qik of Yahoo Messenger (via both 3G and Wi-Fi)
- 4GB internal memory
- 8GB microSD card pre-installed
An odd thing about this leaked document (seen above) is that it says T-Moible is “America’s largest 4G network.” Of course, T-Mobile doesn’t offer any 4G services at the moment, although it does promote its HSPA+ network as being capable of providing “4G speeds”. So maybe the features seen here aren’t the real ones. Hopefully, we’ll find out more about this soon.
